Yes, it is nearly 3 feet tall when assembled. Gathering takes a little time. It is not difficult, just need to assemble a lot of parts, and then the decoration stickers will require some patience. But when you're done, you have to step back to see the enormity of this thing. It's all plastic and looks solid. It comes with an exclusive Batman figure, which is great if that's where you start your game. The interior of the Batcave is detailed and contains many interactive elements for Batman. When you close it, it's a giant "figure" of Batman. It's probably my only disappointment that the exterior has no interaction or detail related to the bat cave itself. I'd love to see some sort of look (it's underground of course, but I'm sure they could come up with something) where Batman can interact outside or be used as part of a larger Gotham set. Still, it will be every kid's dream that collects Batman or DC Comics characters. Inside there is enough space for Superman, Wonder Woman and even vehicles. The price of an item is high for such quality in my opinion, but it should last a long time with proper care.
