So it's been about 6 months since I bought this monitor and it works great. While I'd say it's stable and worth buying lately, it's not. Control buttons on the monitor no longer work as usual. (Only the contrast button itself works.) 2. Having to unplug and plug the monitor back in when turning the desktop on and off while tolerable is a sudden change of pace.3. If you didn't like your settings before a freak hardware failure, then you're out of luck and stick with them indefinitely. I'm sure there is a reason for this, although maybe fixing it manually and checking the hardware might help. Until then, this monitor definitely gets an average hit, although the monitor still works.
