FYI: Disable background and data usage for the mobile app. The multi-room WiFi receiver works well with 50W 2-channel acrylic WiFi. receiver, which I also have. The acrylic amplifier has a higher noise floor than a brand name fully rectified and filtered home theater receiver. A receiver without an amplifier benefits from being used with a fully-fledged receiver with a switched-mode power supply for the best sound quality. Also the phone remote works great but I have it behind a firewall and it's not using background data or cellular data as another reviewer found an unknown connection 😮
