I tried to love this grinder but ended up sending it back - uncomfortable to use and my coffee didn't taste good anymore. I've used a knife grinder to grind coffee for my Aeropress for many years, which means I grind it pretty well. I decided it was time for a new grinder and decided to try this inexpensive burr grinder rather than buy another blade grinder. I wasn't happy with it at first, but wanted to give myself time to get used to it. Not right! First, grinding coffee is a mess. Somehow static electricity is generated and the coffee sticks to the walls of the vessel. You can dust it off, but coffee is everywhere. Second, the grind: I used the finest possible grind, which is supposed to be an espresso grind, but the water in my Aeropress goes through the bottom too quickly, and this makes my coffee taste like nothing - there's not enough time. so that an extraction can take place. Finally, don't get me started on what it takes to clean this thing up. Basically, either buy a real coffee grinder with burrs or use a grinder with blades, but don't get those.
