Baby Safe Large Tip Cotton Buds (4 Packs of 56) 100% Chemical Free Gentle Baby Cotton TipsWhile I can't use cotton swabs in your ear if you intend to, their diameter makes them much safer. They will not go too far into a child's ear to cause harm. There are many other reasons for using cotton swabs and I don't like how the cotton swabs come off on most of them. It leaves bits of cotton behind and makes tampons less useful. These tampons don't do that. A cotton ball on a swab is denser and will not fall apart during use. That makes these tampons a much better choice for many things. I use them to apply a few drops of cuticle oil and then wipe my nails with a swab. When it's all done, I'll still have an untouched tampon, not a wand with cotton swabs. They are also great for applying ointment or balm to an injury as they leave nothing behind. I suspect that anything you would normally use Qtip for would be done more efficiently with one of these. I definitely recommend it.
