I've had these glasses for half a year and they are definitely my favorite reading glasses. They haven't cured my lifelong insomnia, but they're comfortable, light weight, not too messy and probably help my blue blocking eyes. I use the Blue Blocking app on my tablet/smartphone, but also use it to read and knit socks when I take off my varifocals or contact lenses (Monovision). I prefer them to progressive glasses for extended use and have been so pleased with them that I have put off buying prescription reading glasses. It's hard to say how much blue blocking will help, but I suspect it's beneficial. However, if they weren't good reading glasses, I wouldn't choose them over others I have. The price is similar to the OTC glasses I've bought and the quality is good. I use 1.50. I haven't been particularly gentle with them but they have held up well and I would buy them again if needed.
