This worked fine for my 2018 Yukon Denali. Cruise control works again! The hard part was getting to him. I spent about a week figuring out how I would contort myself to work in this small and complex space. I removed the knee pad (under the dash) and one side of the vent under that dash to get a better view of the old brake light switch. You can probably leave by simply turning off the ventilation. I found the easiest way to get there was to sit on a 5-gallon bucket (like from a big store) just outside the driver's door and lean back under the dash. Make sure all your tools are within reach or someone might hand them to you. Bright light also helps. Also note that the 2018 Yukon appears to have a gear on the shaft of this derailleur. This gear must be pulled out so that it lies between the two sides of the brake light switch. In other words, when you're done, it should be inside the two sides of the switch.
