Review on Enhanced Timken 510003 Wheel Bearing for Improved Performance and Durability by Andrew Choukline

Fake camp. This is not Timken stock.

THIS IS NOT A TIMKEN CAMP! It comes in a fake Timken box and is cheap, low quality stock. There is a huge market for fake bearings as inferior replicas can be made to look exactly like the real thing but are made from a much cheaper and softer metal. There is a free app that allows you to scan the code on the box and it will tell you if you are getting real or fake lager. Google fake stock and you will know all about it. My previous fake stock blew up after about 9 months leading to me looking into the stocks and realizing I had bought an inferior fake. When I scanned the code on the box, this stock came in, it was also written fake. Not only that, the camp didn't even say Timken. In addition, the bearing had several nicks and scratches on the outside from normal handling, indicating that it was made of poor quality metal. A real bearing is made of a very strong metal and is very difficult to scratch or scrape. A great way to test a camp. I reported this fake to Revane. The ONLY REASON I ordered this bearing from Revain was because it was Timken. If I wanted a cheap, low quality bearing, I could go to any auto parts store down the street and buy one right away. I put off the repair to buy a real Timken, but got this piece of "carp" instead. I had to delay the repair for an additional 3 days to await delivery of the real Timken from another dealer. Don't try to build in a false bearing. It's too much work to do again in 9 months.
