I LOVE this sleeping bag! I got XL. My little girl is almost 9 months old, 28 1/2 inches long and around 18-20 pounds. When I put this on her for the first time I was worried because it looked very big but it was perfect. She has plenty of room to grow, but it still feels like a diaper. This gives her enough freedom to sleep on her back and side. It also has large arm compartments to allow her to move her arms more freely while still inside. Our other sleeping bag was very tight and I can see a big difference. I wish I had found this sooner, not only is it cheaper it works better for us too!
