Manufacturer's suggestion: supplied power pack with longer cable. For welding 0.15mm x 8mm nickel strip with 18650 this welder works quite well. According to the instructions, the first charge took 30 minutes. Immediately after making about 100 welds in 30 minutes, I varied the power from low to maximum. Welds look good and have never had power issues.
