Review on 🔌 Tekpower TP3005D Digital Variable Linear Type DC Power Supply: 0-30V @ 0-5A with Alligator Cable and Power Cord - High-Performance Precision Power Control by Alex Webster

I bought this power supply in October 2018 and have used it mainly to test 12V circuits and devices Positives: Seems to be quite solidly built, very easy to set voltage/current levels, light weight read output screens and overall very easy to use. However, after 15 months of very light use, it now no longer outputs voltage (the voltage indicator shows voltage but never outputs current). I saw another browser had the same problem just a few days later. This product is backed by TekPower's 1-year warranty. When I called TekPower support, they said I would have to pay shipping to and from the repair center, the cost of the repair, and that it would probably be cheaper to just buy a new unit. I understand the 1 year limited warranty but am very disappointed with the short lifespan of the power adapter. Maybe that's to be expected for a device this cheap, but I expected it to last a lot longer.
