My main problem with my outdoor flash cameras was changing the batteries too often. All 3 of my cameras have quite a bit of traffic, around 30-50 triggers a day on average. I was dying to try these solar panels when I found out about them. They have a decent length of cable, so I was able to route some cables by placing the panel itself in direct sunlight. I use this in conjunction with some external housings that I have bought for my cameras and the solar panel USB cable runs nicely through the back of the housing and into the camera. There were days when there were so many motion triggers that I was sure one of the cameras would die, but they held. Only time will tell how well they hold up, will be updated if anything changes.
