I have had this camera for more than 4 years, it has never let me down, a pity that it has long been discontinued, so I highly recommend the younger S-series models (I especially liked the SX 20 IS). With its pros: Good optics, high-quality zoom, just excellent macro (from 0 mm - it's real! ), It shoots great even in severe frosts (only the batteries run out faster) Different cons: You have to open the flash with your hands, - you have to carry several with you.
