Bought for lecture capture and pleasantly surprised! It can store up to 130 hours on LP setting and up to 24 hours on HQ setting, which is good if you go to lectures several times a week. Jacket underneath - otherwise it will pick up sounds from your movement or someone walking by. The voice recorder has 4 folders which I use to separate my classes (so you know which lecture is in which folder). In the menu you can view the time, the date, the remaining recording time or the number of minutes recorded. In addition, the recorder comes with software and a USB cable, which are very easy to install and use. All you have to do is install the program, connect the recorder to your PC and all your files will be downloaded! You even have the option to convert files to MP3-WAV. However, the software has one thing: it doesn't work on Mac computers. The battery that came with the recorder lasts a while but if you use it a lot I would recommend rechargeable batteries. All in all this is a very solid, accurate recorder and very easy to use!
