I have big thighs and a small waist, so I ordered a large and took in the waist and upper hips. If you do this, just make sure to do both sides evenly, don't take it all from one side. Then I had to cut off the ridiculously long point in the front which flapped from side to side uglily as I walked. I was very pleased with the way the material ran through my sewing machine. It was a very easy fix. Maybe 5 minutes including pinning, sewing, and trimming. After the minor adjustments, I have a skirt that fits perfect, is adorable, and very comfortable!
