This item was a gift for my wife and I was happy to give it to her. I thought I got a good deal. The item turned out to be much smaller than I thought it was, covered in makeup powder and the "mirror cover" was broken at the hinge. The item fell apart when I took it out of the box to give to her. She obviously liked the idea, but I decided to toss the junk in the trash where it belongs and went and bought her a Sephora gift set.

Well they're small. But the makeup looks great, there are many colors to choose from and the set arrived intact and on time. I bought these for my 11 year old daughter and for myself and am happy with them both as a child and as an adult.

Many cosmetics have dried up, especially mascara. I would have returned but didn't know about the issue until I gave it to my girlfriend. And I hate disappointing her.

I bought it for my 9 year old daughter. Her first "real" make-up. It's smaller than you think, but I knew that from previous customer reviews. I find the colors to be a bit 'bright' for lack of a better word meaning we had to apply a lot to see the colors but I guess that's normal for a 9 year old. Nice starter set for girls.

I ordered this especially for on the go. Not as a gift for a child, and certainly not as a basic makeup kit. Didn't expect high quality but decent. And I think that's exactly what I need. I'm away for a week and my backpack will be my SUPER and I need a compact all in one to touch up my makeup throughout the day. for a good make-up set even for beginners.
