I like this 28t with my 1x12)10-50 Sram Eagle cassette. It's at least twice the weight of my original Sram Eagle 30t aluminum chainring, so what. This is a game changer in many ways. All those steep hills that other young people would have climbed (but I would have climbed) I'm doing now. Also, I can take a breather even on gradual climbs, which increases ride time by 2x. I preached to a group of 28 tooth DH guys and they said they all already have 28 :) The cheapest and most useful upgrade you can make.
