These pants are great. Every morning before the sun rises I go for a walk in my neighborhood. I live in Michigan so temperatures are frigid - close to or below zero with wind chill many days. I don’t even need to wear longjohns underneath these pants. They are surprisingly good at stopping the wind. My legs are incredibly warm and comfortable. They are also very stretchy and fit nicely into boots. They come up high on the waist and create a flattering silhouette. I wore them under snow pants to take my kids sledding and they kept me nice and toasty while offering flexibility. The only issue is that I really wish they had at least one pocket for me to keep a phone in. I just ordered two more pairs.
