Review on HP X24Ih FHD Gaming Monitor: 144Hz, 1920X1080P, FreeSync, IPS Panel by Marquise Herrington

With the upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X releases, there's a good chance you're reading this will need a new monitor to support your new console. I believe you are in the right place. The HP X24i is designed to support next-generation consoles with a 144Hz refresh rate and integrated AMD FreeSync Premium. However, I could not fully test the high frame rate. that this monitor can support (I'm currently playing on an Xbox One S and don't have access to a PC with a higher refresh rate), I'll update my review sometime during the week of November 10th (assuming my X-series comes around in time) so watch it again! Regarding the gameplay on the Xbox One, I can say that the picture is still very sharp even at 1080p. 1ms response time is good for gaming. The refresh rate I can currently get (60fps) is still great. The Xbox One S does have the ability to update at 120fps, but there are virtually no games on the current-gen Xbox that support anything over 60fps. That being said, the way this monitor works with my current console gives me complete confidence that it will be able to take full advantage of the refresh rates of next-gen consoles. ), I will also address using the X24i in other areas of my life. I use this monitor every day for work. I connect a monitor to my laptop via HDMI and use the second screen to get work done while keeping my Zoom calls visible on my laptop. The picture looks great and the physical design of the monitor makes me believe it will last for years. The stand is pretty sturdy and wide so I'm not afraid of accidentally knocking it over if I bump into it. Overall I like this monitor. Work, study, play, it can support everything. The price is very reasonable and I can't wait to see the full potential of this monitor when the next generation consoles officially launch. Until then I will continue to use this amazing monitor for my daily work and gaming sessions.
