This is the perfect size and weight for a durable necklace that hangs comfortably and in place remains. I have lost so many necklaces due to broken clasps and so many metal chains have become pinched or snagged and tangled in my hair. Leave a knot and unlike hemp, you can pull a piece off - no need to sleep, bathe or sweat in it until it rots and falls off. Very versatile, attractive, useful stuff.
