Haven't worn them to the beach yet so can't comment on durability. But I found they fit pretty well. My only complaint is that the back has a lot of coverage and I prefer a little less coverage in the back. I wear pants in size 16 and took XL, they fit perfectly. Black is true black. The photo shows more grey-black side. I also pick up a cheap heart amulet. He is more than he seems. Body gloves make great costumes. I have a few of their tops and they are all comfortable and wash/wear very well.
