Great item for a weekend camper

Just got back from a weekend trip in the rain. Pak did a great job. sleeping bag below. Clothing zipped up. Flashlight, personal items in the upper compartment. Raincoat on one side and slippers on the other. Never sought after for space, durability or water retention. It also looks cool. I can say it's perfect for walking to camping. Went with this not long ago, but I suspect more padding is needed in the thigh area. The straps on top don't know what to do with it and they aren't that strong. If there is real weight attached there, the backpack will be heavy. 5 stars for quality for the price. Update midway to a scouting career. The bag is still on the way. The top straps are really useless. Otherwise, best value for money is to drive or walk to the campsite. Pay attention to the photos posted which appear to be ruined. This is because the tip was pulled too tight. It happened to my son too. Needle, thread and 5 min return to normal life. Buy again to show off the new Scout Parents.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No gun
