Review on 🌿 If You Care Sponge Cloths – Pack of 5 – Eco-Friendly Cleaning Rags for Kitchen, Bathroom, Home Countertops – Highly Absorbent, Reusable, Easy to Clean, Biodegradable by Mike Mahfood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I LOVE them and so does my little dog

It's freaking cool! I still use paper towels when I need to soak up food grease. But I use these rags for everything else I normally use to clean. The packaging states that the fabric and packaging itself is compostable. This is a German product so rest assured it is not made in China. I like to use them around the sink and put them in places where there is a lot of water droplets, like under a faucet handle. Some towels may have white streaks, but this does not affect absorbency in any way. It's just a way of blending the fibers during production. I've washed mine several times in the washing machine and they're holding up well. The packaging says not to dry them. I accidentally tossed them in the dryer on the second wash and they ended up shrinking. But even though they shrunk, they were still usable and still absorbed liquid well. They're highly absorbent and durable, making them the perfect replacement for paper towels for cleaning the stovetop or microwave (I use dish soap and water). They don't fall apart like paper towels, don't leave scraps of paper or lint, dry quickly (but not completely) if you wring them out completely, wring out much easier than kitchen towels, wash off dirt very easily, they're more than more expensive printed models , which brings me to my final point, which is that they are cheap! At around $1 plus change, they're significantly cheaper than the cute printed fabrics advertised as Swedish tableware. I got one as a gift a few years ago with a nice gnome design. I've only recently started using it and noticed that it was a lot smaller than the If You Care brand. The function is the same but seriously, there's no point paying more for a cleaning cloth when you have one can get for less. If you have a dog like mine, you might as well change them up from time to time. My dog has grabbed two pieces of clothing so far because he's a brat and thinks he can use them as chew toys LOL. I ordered 4 packs two months ago and today I just ordered 3 more packs as I love having a huge stack before doing my laundry in the kitchen. .
