I bought it hoping it will be convenient in the car and also when travelling/camping. While not as thick/hard as I was hoping, it's otherwise perfect. It fits well in the boot of my Discovery Sport and is also perfect when I fold down the second row of seats. The best part is that the non-slip coating actually works. My two dogs seem to love this bed and it matches their loft bed inside perfectly for added comfort. I threw it in the washing machine when we got back from a trip to wash off the dirt and it washed up nicely. Note that my washing machine doesn't have an agitator so I'm not sure how it will work with that. It dried well on low heat and I just put it on the dryer to air dry completely and it's like new. I will definitely be buying a few more for the house.
