Testing right at 999MB/s with my NVMe chassis, that's pretty much all you can get from a USB port (theoretical max would be 1250MB/s, but good luck). It seems to work pretty well to connect multiple devices, although there was some strange behavior when I had 2 NVMe enclosures connected. It may have been an isolated case where I tried to clone an OS drive, but who knows. Overall it works as advertised. Update June 16, 2021: Random failures with drives attached forced me to re-rate this to 1 star. No matter what external drive I plug in, it randomly disconnects when accessed under any load.
