Comes loose over time best on arm and strap accessories

Got this for my son to use with the Fitbit Ace 3 and it works fine when attached to the watch. The problem is that it weakens slightly over time. In the morning he tightened it up and at noon he asked me to put it back on because it was slipping through the tensioner.
