I've just received a Bissell wet and dry vacuum and it came with a test floor cleaner concentrate but the machine uses a lot of cleaning and doesn't last long. Also, my house has a wide variety of finishes (wood, tile, LVT aka luxury vinyl tile, carpet, etc.) so I particularly liked that it came bundled with different concentrated solutions instead of having to buy each one individually. I love my new wet and dry cleaning, but I wasn't thrilled with Bissell's cleaning formula for two reasons: 1) Most importantly, my floors become slippery after using the recommended cleaner to water ratio. I have a toddler who likes to run and fall on the floor all day which is dangerous and 2) I don't like the smell of Bissell cleaner. It's a little overpowering and not a scent I like. The product instructions say to use the proprietary cleaning solution because it's made specifically for the car, blah blah blah, but I honestly don't think using a competitor's product will harm my car. I can use this Hoover product without slippery floors and I also like the light citrus scent more than the Bissell scent. Another thing I really like about these Hoover solutions is that there is a unique funnel shaped point on the lid to make them easier to pour into your car. We have a house that is less than 3 years old and we don't wear shoes inside. . But even if hardwood sticks together, dirt has to get into the grooves during construction. Soap combined with the cleaning power of the machine does an excellent job of removing a large amount of dirt. It's also good for everyday accidents (tile and grout or hardwood cleaner), pets (multi = finish formula), etc. Hardwood looks shiny after using this cleaner, while vinyl and tile stay clean with no added shine. She. This product is really easy to use and economical. I will continue to order this Hoover product as it cleans well and does not make floors slippery.
