First brush in horse grooming box

I've had horses all my life. I grew up with one of those plastic combs in my hand. Seriously, that's more than 50 years of product testing of this particular design. This should be your favorite brush. You take the first one out of the grooming box. No matter how dirty your horse is, use this brush first. This is an all purpose brush. Use it to remove dried dirt. Use it to remove hair during hair loss season. Use it to give a good scratch on all those itchy spots that horses seem to want you to scratch. Use it anywhere before switching to a dandy or buffing brush. Use it to give your horse a good bath. Use it to untangle tangles and untangle burrs. Use gently on the mane and tail as it pulls out excess hair as you detangle tangles. Keep in mind that these plastic brushes don't last forever under normal conditions. use. Little fingers wear out or break. But they are easy to clean and do a great job. And the exchange is relatively cheap.
