I just bought this twin pack to use for Readyboost on 2 very old Win 10 laptops (10-13 years old, we're already exhausted) with about 4 GB of RAM to use) I have for my small children. They work for readyboost, and computers have gone from being unacceptably slow to being very smart. You won't win awards for speed, but they're good for light gaming (an amazing car) and basic web gaming (like typing). The first time I plugged one of them in, it didn't recognize it as ready to use. I just closed the properties window and tried again and it recognized it so I think it was probably still loading which is why it was slower. If this happens, just try again after about a minute. The low overall height is necessary so that they are not damaged when moving and do not get caught. As a side note, I've read that this is the optimal performance for readyboost. Format USB sticks as exfat32 with more space (I chose 4000-6000 KB). A larger allocation is more efficient but wastes a little more space. I've read that 5MB is a good optimum and with 16GB I'm not worried about wasting too much space. You can adjust according to your situation.
