I cook a lot in bulk so we have a lot of ready meals. I prefer to make them in a single serving container so I can make a basic recipe and just add a few different ingredients to each container. For example, I like it very spicy, but my husband doesn't, so I season my dishes extra. Anyway, what I like best is that they can be used in the oven and in the microwave. The lids close tightly and each bowl holds 2 cups. They can be stacked, but I wouldn't call them compact. They are also dishwasher and freezer safe. We can disinfect them and use them again and again.
