Small glass containers control consumption. I enjoy them when freezing soups with a convenient one-cup portion. I can make soup, fill a glass container, refrigerate, freeze and then reheat and serve without the need for another bowl. I recommend these for purchase.

My mother's nurse made a batch of soup and put it in these freezer bowls. They fit perfectly and were the right amount for the portion! Just don't reheat straight from the freezer (we put it in the fridge for a day to thaw before cooking).

Yes they can break but with care they will last. My problem with plastic containers is that many foods leave "dimples" or discoloration in plastic containers that are impossible to clean and can even burn holes in the microwave. So I decided to try glass containers of the same size for 2 cups and I think that although they are more expensive they will last much longer, if not forever.

These are great cooking containers. They are perfect for my smaller portions. They fold up nicely and fit perfectly in my lunch bag when I'm packing a few days' food on business trips. The bowls with lids fit snugly and I haven't had any leaks. I especially like that they are glass because they can be reheated in the microwave. This eliminates the need to transfer food from the storage container to a microwaveable bowl. The best part is that they are dishwasher safe!

Bought to store and freeze baby food while I cook for my baby and they work perfectly. Doesn't flow at all. Protects against frostbite. Ideal portions. Just a tip, after you put the lid on, press the center of the lid and it will push the air out and sort of seal it. Certainly not as good as a real vacuum sealer, but it expelled most of the air. One lid had a small tear around the edge but it still works with no issues, still no leaks so I didn't bother to return it. Highly recommended.

Each individual bowl has a paper label on the bottom of the bowl. It is not clear why the label is put in the bowl and then stuck on. After peeling off the label in each bowl, there was some glue left in each bowl. I had to use a towel and rubbing alcohol to wipe off the glue before putting each bowl in the dishwasher. Also, the lids don't seem to be very durable. One of them ripped on the side right after opening the bowl for the first time, right out of the box.

I cook a lot in bulk so we have a lot of ready meals. I prefer to make them in a single serving container so I can make a basic recipe and just add a few different ingredients to each container. For example, I like it very spicy, but my husband doesn't, so I season my dishes extra. Anyway, what I like best is that they can be used in the oven and in the microwave.
