I was feeding my three cats frozen raw food and wanted a couple of small glass bowls (used to thaw food in batches) that would fully sanitize can be dishwasher. These are just right for my needs. I now have 18 of these containers, enough for 3 days of kitten food. Yes, the glue holding the paper to the bottom can be a bit difficult to remove. I just cleaned as much as I could, then doused the rest of the glue in rubbing alcohol, let it sit for a while, then used a butter knife to remove the residue. Dead easy! EDIT: After a few months of use, out of the 24 sets I bought, 10 caps are cracked or torn out. I contacted Bovado through their website and asked if they had a replacement in stock, but no response after 6 weeks. 3 stars deducted for poor quality. Jar without a lid is useless to me.
