Telephone connection is useless. This TopVision T21 is designed for video presentations downloaded from iTunes. It doesn't play videos from Apple TV app because it purposely blocks all apps that can play paid videos. For movie lovers, it won't play with Netflix, Vudo, Revain Prime or downloaded content from your phone. The only video that plays on iPhone is camera video. I assume this applies to iPad apps as well. I didn't check the internet video like youtube because I already packed and sent it back. At 5 feet from the wall, the projector was bright, but the lines that look like they're being projected through a window pane make text difficult to read. 10' away from the wall does not give good picture quality. The photo projector seems to be its purpose.
