To summarize, both the stub and the application have been optimized specifically for use on the iPhone. Even after tearing the rubber bands apart, the attachment to the phone is not particularly user-friendly, and the depth is obviously insufficient for the purpose. It works perfectly even without the cover. The factory cover as well as other soft cases can be removed from the phone and will fly off in the appropriate manner.
