Plastic tube cracks/breaks when the stopper is inserted into the neck of the tube

After filling it with liquid and inserting the plastic stopper into the neck of the tube, everything looks good. But after a day you will start to see cracks on the neck of the tube. The plastic liner is too big and the plastic neck is too brittle and starting to break. This means that the neck breaks easily and all the liquid is spilled.
