You simply add what you're mixing, turn the knob to raise the bowl into position, lower it when you're done, and press the front to release the clip on the back. There is nothing easier. This blender is very heavy and very large. The mixer's rubber base ensures that it stays in place even when kneading bread with the bread hook. The device and the attachments are easy to clean.
