These brushes are great! I love her! I am an artist and a craftsman. I draw a lot throughout the year. I am currently using these brushes to paint a wide range of kitchen furniture - a table, a sideboard and 6 chairs that have detailed areas and appliqués with 4 different paint colors, 2 wax colors and art colors. The smallest brush is ideal for details and more. The round brush with pointed but offset bristles is ideal for applying colored wax to details. The Round Brush is a great brush for general coloring. I've used them with chalk paint, latex paint and creamy waxes in addition to chalk paste. I had very few loose bristles. I would say at most 3 or 4 bristles came loose from all three brushes in the entire set. I like the size of the handles that fit my small hand. I love the texture of the bristles, the shape of each brush and how easy it is to paint and clean. Highly recommended. I will buy more.
