I installed this on a push mower. The original springs for adjusting the throttle valve have become unusable. I installed this instead of replacing those springs and then had to go to the front of the mower to change the speed. I installed it on the handlebars and then ran a cord to the throttle body and attached it, then secured the line with zip ties and zip ties. Not the cleanest install, but it works. The only downside is that when I fitted it to the throttle assembly the way it made sense, it now pushes the throttle back. In other words, when I push the throttle stick to stop it, it's actually running at full throttle, and when I move the stick to full throttle, it's actually the slowest speed. It's my fault, not the hardware. It does require a bit of effort to move it back and forth though, which is good in my case as the vibrations don't allow it to change speed.
