I was trying to use this on my tractor. I tried making it to fit but the cable had to be twisted too much I think because it doesn't. move once I install it. If you have an easy place to put it, it will work just fine. It's cheap, but it will work.

This is a good general purpose product. The lever is rigid and has a detent to prevent throttle movement. The cable is long enough for most applications but not waterproof. That wouldn't be good work in corrosive locations such as salt or salt water.

I needed a cable to control the carburetor throttle on an old forklift. I wanted something that would show throttle position and not just show cable extension. This little device worked great. I installed the device in the driver's cab, extended the cable to the carburetor choke, and now the driver can observe how much choke is on at start. Thought I'd try this for my old Bolens garden tractor. I expected to have to drill holes to make it fit, but didn't realize it worked differently than the old one. , by the UP position pushing the OUT wire and my alter was reversed. You can change the direction of the cable to change this, but that meant I had to find a new route for the cable as it was going the wrong way. I installed this on a push mower. The original springs for adjusting the throttle valve have become unusable. I installed this instead of replacing those springs and then had to go to the front of the mower to change the speed. I installed it on the handlebars and then ran a cord to the throttle body and attached it, then secured the line with zip ties and zip ties. Not the cleanest install, but it works. The only downside is that when I fitted it to the throttle assembly the way it made sense,
