I have several different types and brands of pens like this one. This set works just as well as the others I have. I keep needing more because I ran out of ink on my drawings. There is a wide range of tip sizes and styles in this set. The ink flows smoothly, no streaks or drips, I've had other pens accidentally drip while painting. The ink dries quickly so I still have to smudge the drawing. Water will not smudge or alter the lines once dry, meaning you can use these pens alongside watercolors. Depending on the paper you're drawing on, you'll get little to no bleeding. I used thinner, lighter paper for some of my testing and had some spots where the ink was more saturated. I can't confirm the ink's archival quality as I haven't owned it long enough. The description mentions archival ink but it doesn't appear on the packaging. Each pen's body and cap are marked with a size or style, which I find extremely important. Overall this is a great set of art pens.
