My night guard made from clear plastic, custom made by the dentist. After soaking in Efferdent Fresh Guard soaking solution, washing and soaking in fresh water, Nightguard retains the smell and taste of bleach for several nights of use. Despite brushing and water, the product must adhere to the plastic night protection after application. My night light has had brown spots on the edges of my teeth for about 5 months. The stains appeared before I used this product for the first time, but this product did not reduce them. When I got the night guard, the dentist told me not to use toothpaste and a brush to clean it because that would make the night guard cloudy. She told me to wash it with dish soap. It also does not prevent or reduce blemishes. I will not buy this product again.
