Works great. With a ruler and a little patience, the anti-slip tape brought the necessary security to the slippery oak staircase. When used full length and using a razor blade to trim the ends the result looks very professional. Comfortable under bare feet. Once applied, it blends in like it's always there (the 1-inch band just looks appropriate, but it's not wide enough to draw much attention). The backing offers excellent adhesion, but with care the strip can be folded over and reattached. I would highly recommend this product and will be purchasing another basement stair caster.
