Review on Eversame 2-in-1 Type C USB Tester with Color Screen LCD - Ultimate Digital Multimeter for USB C Voltage, Current, and Power Testing by Deandre Kamaludin

The first device I got was an intermittent USB input. I plugged it into a port that I used daily with various devices for years and it didn't start all the time. When I wiggled it in port, it was obvious the connection was bad. I ran the same experiment with a USB stick and a Bluetooth adapter and neither showed this behavior. I sent it back and got my second unit today. Same problem! I was about to pack it up when I realized that if I pulled the device out of the USB port about half an inch, it would be securely connected. It seems that the pins are not long enough to properly connect to that particular port. I've never experienced this with this (or any other) USB port or device, so I'd say it's a design issue. Took off two stars for this - just wanted to take off one because the device can be made to work and work on other USB ports without this issue, but decided to take two stars because it's *so* easy to accidentally overdo it to push , which results in a) disconnecting the USB device under test and b) resetting it. Apart from the problem described above, this seems to be a good product. I haven't checked the readings with the meter, but they seem reasonable.
