The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Overall, appearance is pleasing, albeit obviously not a MacBook. The MacBook fails the test despite having good build quality (earlier models used plastic, which was thankfully removed here). You can securely take it if you require the qualities listed in the advantages and a 2K screen for videos and movies. Certain benefits - A steady 11th generation i5 running at 3 GHz and 8 threads. - 56 Wh - extremely long battery life - Intel Xe Graphics - 16 GB of RAM - 512 GB SSD - 2K monitor There isn't much pricing competition in the market for the stated set of parameters. Many drawbacks If you choose to install Linux, you must first fiddle with the drivers (available on the official Intel page + hw-probe for assistance), as otherwise it first warmed up to 60 at medium loads due to issues with them (everything is ok on Windows). None of the fingerprint scanners in Linux are now supported; perhaps drivers will be released later. The cooler makes a lot of noise when under stress (100 percent for all 8 threads), but the temperature didn't go past 65 to 70. The power supply was also disrupted. Also, it charges via type-c, allowing you to purchase a regular, ugly compact that you won't chuck in your luggage (with a separate block in the middle of the wire).
