Review on 🌡️ Gates 33941 Smart Thermostat by Jake Atonyo

I bought this thermostat to replace my fiance's thermostat which was worn out on a 2010 Altima. Her service light had been on for a few weeks, so I had her take her to the autozone for a scan (free!), and the engine coolant thermostat code came out. They couldn't tell if it was up or down so I decided to go ahead and swap both. I decided to save some money and not go for the OEM as they are $22 each. $9 sounded better. Upon replacing I found that the rubber in the upper thermostat had deteriorated very badly and the other looked normal, but I replaced both anyway. Top up 50/50 coolant and sure enough the Service Engine light soon went out when we restarted the car. Save money with these thermostats.
