Review on πŸ“» Convenient and Compact iLive Wireless Under Cabinet Bluetooth FM Radio with Mounting Hardware (IKB318S) by Edgar Vasquez

The radio works. Thoughtless design.

I'm returning the radio. While it has its good points, I found the way the radio was set up just silly. I liked how the radio looked, how well it picked up stations, that it had loads of presets, and that it was very well priced. In my opinion, there are far more bad moments than good ones. The sound is pretty basic and a lot worse than the previous radio I've had in the last 30 years. Radio tuning is annoying because you can't move freely around the dial. It will just "search" for the next station and pause, after that you have to press the button again. If you live in an area with many stations, it will take some time to reach your destination. Although you can install many presets, the only way to get to the preset you want is to go through each preset one at a time until you reach it. For example, if your radio is tuned to preset #3 and you want to change to preset #10, you will need to hold down the preset button to cycle through the presets one at a time until you get to #10. Very time consuming. The design of the buttons themselves is a HUGE flaw. There are 11 barely visible black keys on the black front panel. For example, if they made the buttons white, it would be much easier for you to see what you need. What's more, the button labels are so small I even had to use a magnifying glass to see them. All in all, the use of this radio is not worth it.
