Bought this to try and salvage a handbag the lining of which had come loose from the bag and bad was frayed. above bad. I was concerned that this adhesive might damage the skin or be visible on the outside of the bag so I tested it and there was no problem. I cut the frayed threads off the liner and reattached it with this glue. I let it dry overnight and then put my usual stuff in my purse. I carry quite a bit in my bag and have been using the bag for about a week now and the lining has not moved or come loose from where I attached it. The thing is very strong! I also tested our Aleene leather glue and it was even half as strong as this one (maybe because I was attaching the fabric to the skin). I'm so glad I bought this, it saved me so much more at a cobbler or workshop to get my leather handbag back to use.
