Review on Thermometer Wireless Roaprobe Bluetooth Grilling by Yolanda Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use, works well.

I've never used a thermometer when grilling but I decided to take it seriously so I bought this one. My Roaprobe thermometer has 4 sensors. I believe you can get a 2, 4 or 6 probe version. They are detachable (easy to clean) and equipped with a small handle. It might not sound like much, but most of these thermometers don't have handles on the probes and are too hot to handle without gloves. I don't use gloves. You only need to connect the sensors you use. If you later find you want to use a different one when cooking, just plug it in. The device recognizes it and you can get started. Roaprobe can be used with or without the app. Of course, you only get temperature readings. Using the app adds the ability to view temperature, set temperature alerts (your phone will notify you when the sensor reaches your desired temperature), select and change profiles for different meats, and change settings. The app installed on my iPhone in seconds and automatically connected to the thermometer without me having to do anything on the phone. He kept in touch and worked well. A few other nice features. It uses a rechargeable battery (via the included USB cable), has a magnet built into the case, and comes with a pair of metal mesh clips. The magnet isn't very strong, but it does hold the case on the stainless steel grille. The clips snap onto the grill grates and allow the internal temperature of the grill to be measured. Although my grill has a thermometer, I use one on the rack and the other on the warming rack. This is likely to be useful if you have a large grill and want one area to be hotter than the other. So far I really like this thermometer. easy to use and works great!
