honest review here. when i got it i wasn't impressed at all. The little one was a lot smaller than I expected, especially the white styling area (apart from the brown bumpers). I mostly have big Maine Coons, I thought. Hm. That's too small for many cats. It also just looked cheap and of poor quality. It was only $8 so I figured it would be good for the box and wrote it off. In relation to that, it has a very low bumper and the corner in the middle is very small. Strange proportions. But in the meantime I put it aside. And I quickly found that he had a niche. My kitten likes it very much. She likes low rounded bumpers. Bought by more than a dozen. she just loves it the most. This is her daily bed. When she grows up, I'll have to buy her a medium. I also have a 6.5 pound old cat. Now he's a sickly old man, my dear Ways, and he was wild most of his life until I found him captured, badly injured, and tamed. Having lived as a true wild animal for most of his life, he hates being caged. You will never find him stretched out in a plush bed like my other cats. He usually relaxes by sitting somewhere with a good view. He's a sweet boy with simple likes. When I took him to the vet today I found this to be the perfect thing to put him in the passenger seat so he can drive. I've tried many but he prefers to sit on a hard surface. and when I turn around he stumbles and falls. This bed is perfect for him. The low sides didn't bother him at all, the bed was flat enough for him to sit down and had just the right "girth" so he didn't trip around corners. I was so excited! Unfortunately he had to go home after the stress of the vet and like an old man he couldn't take it anymore. Disgusting, smelly diarrhea. This is the death of many beds. Since this one seemed very short-lived to me, I went online to buy another one (perfect for an old man and all). But I thought, what the heck, I'll at least try. I rinsed it, disinfected it and then washed/dried it. I was happy again. Washed and dried great. No points (yet) from the non-slip base. None of the seams will unravel. Kept its shape, not lumpy. I was quite surprised at how well it washes. Very happy. Although initially very disappointed, I really appreciated this unique bed and that it has too low a bumper and not enough space to lie down. Most pets probably won't like this bed. But when used correctly for the right cat, it's just wonderful. For that he gets 5 stars.
