Remember that games are the console's primary purpose; for me, this meant that the console's straightforward interface and lightning-fast load times were the features I valued most. My little guy, who is only four years old, switches it on, selects a game, and starts playing. Quality of smoothing, etc. As a regular user, I'm just not that interested. A good image and quick turnaround are priorities. The average time it takes to load a round in the same fighting games we play have played with friends has increased dramatically. Also, I don't see the sense in smearing Xbox ONE owners in any way; ultimately, that's a decision each individual must make for himself. The average person who plays little more than three to four hours per week will not notice any difference. For the only reason that the graphical distortion in newer PS3 titles made it uncomfortable to play, I made the investment. I own GTA 5 on both PS3 and PS4, but have only played the latter version.
